The programme for the two-day Festival, at Wellington College, Berkshire, will be packed with discussions, panels, lectures and workshops which will celebrate and challenge teaching and learning, helping us all to shape the future of our education system.

World-class organisations including the BBC, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Sage Gateshead and the Royal Institution will be joining us to run workshops and shape the programme to cover all the major issues in education today, ranging across primary and secondary schools, further education, higher education, and home learning.

FURTHER EDUCATION

New for this year will be a full day Further Education programme. With the recent news that university applications are 10% lower than last year, FE Colleges will play an even more prominent role in education. This exciting addition will discuss topics such as Skills and the Olympics, Vocational Pedagogy, and Entrepreneurship.  Gazelle will showcase its work in Further Education and there will be experiential sessions on some of the sessions outlined above. Watch out for the launch of the “Rough Guide to FE”.
